"Volunteers do not necessarily have the time;
they just have the heart."
~ Elizabeth Andrew
Ongoing research shows that family engagement in schools improves student achievement, reduces absenteeism, and sustains parents’ confidence in their children’s education. Students with involved parents or other caregivers earn higher grades and test scores, have better social skills, and show improved behavior.
There are many ways to get involved in your child's education and development at Forest Grove - at home and at school. Our school thrives on the hearts of the volunteers who want to increase involvement and build a supportive community. As the saying goes "many hands make light work." Whether you can donate 15 minutes to deliver a child their hot lunch; make a few calls/send a couple emails in your spare time; or head an entire committee, we value and appreciate your contribution.
